Meet the Staff

Éric joined IAM Local 712 in 1998 and quickly became involved in union activities. Over the years, he held several positions, including Shop Steward, Recording Secretary and Vice President, before being elected District 11 Business Representative in 2016.

With extensive experience in contract negotiations across various sectors, including aerospace , Éric has developed a deep understanding of the issues facing members and unions across Quebec.

As President of the Quebec Machinists Council (QMC), he also gained extensive experience in political action, mobilization and training, while building strong relationships with the Quebec labour movement.

In 2026, he was appointed Vice-President of the Quebec Federation of Labour (QFL).
