Dave Thompson has been a proud member of the IAM Union for 30 years. As former President of Local 905, he was deeply committed to supporting working people, advocating for fair benefits, and strengthening the bonds of solidarity that make our union strong.

Dave believed in the importance of standing together, representing members, and working tirelessly to ensure that every member’s voice was heard. His dedication, experience, and passion for union work made him an inspiring and essential leader in Local 905.

Sadly, Dave passed away in 2026. He will be deeply missed by his fellow IAM members, colleagues, and the many people whose lives he touched through his years of service and commitment to the labour movement. His legacy of solidarity and dedication will continue to live on within our union.
