Machinists Ratify with Dennis GM!
Corner Brook, NL – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 544 has ratified two collective agreements with Dennis GM.
Mechanics ratified a one-year agreement that provides a wage increase of 3 per cent. The second agreement covers Accounting Clerks, Parts Consultants, Service Consultants, Receptionist and Drivers at the auto dealership. The four-year agreement provides wage increase of 4 per cent in the first year and 2 per cent in the second, third and fourth year respectively. The agreement also provides for an increase in the IAM Pension Fund of $ .70 per hour.
The IAMAW represents workers at eight auto dealerships in Newfoundland.
