IAM Local 907 Members Ratify New Collective Agreement
IAM Local 907 members at the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) have ratified a new Collective Agreement, marking an important step forward in securing improved working conditions and benefits for members.
The new agreement includes annual wage increases and significant improvements in several key areas, including hours of work, workloads, flex time, bereavement leave, pension cap provisions, post-retirement health benefits, and the bilingual bonus. The agreement also strengthens language related to health and safety, as well as protections surrounding artificial intelligence in the workplace.
“ A special thank you to the committee who understood the priorities of their members and pushed tirelessly throughout the entire bargaining process,” said International Representative Kim Valliere.
The successful ratification reflects the dedication and commitment of the bargaining committee in advocating for members’ priorities and achieving meaningful improvements at the bargaining table.
