From the Shop Floor to the Race Track: Meet Jessica Guitard
For Jessica Guitard, being an IAM member is about more than what happens at work. As a Shop Steward with IAM Local 712, Jessica spends her time standing up for her fellow members, supporting her coworkers and helping make sure workers’ voices are heard.
But when she steps away from the workplace, Jessica trades her work gear for racing gear and heads to the track, where she takes on the challenge of Enduro motocross competitions.
Enduro motocross is a demanding sport that requires focus, determination, endurance and a willingness to push yourself through challenging terrain. For Jessica, it’s an opportunity to challenge herself, embrace her passion for racing and enjoy the thrill of competition.
Whether she’s representing her fellow IAM members on the job or competing on the track, Jessica brings the same determination and drive to everything she does.
Her story is a great reminder that IAM members have passions, talents and accomplishments that extend far beyond the workplace. From sports and hobbies to volunteering, community involvement and everything in between, our members continue to do amazing things both on and off the job.
Great job, Jessica! We’re proud to celebrate you and share your story with the IAM community.
