21st Annual Social Delegate Network Conference of QFL Laurentides-Lanaudière
On October 1, 2026, a group of social delegates from IAM Local 712 attended the 21st Annual Social Delegate Network Conference hosted by the QFL Laurentides-Lanaudière, for a day filled with learning and meaningful discussion!
In our workplaces, social delegates play an essential role. They listen, support their colleagues through difficult times and help connect them with the right resources. Training and networking are great ways to continue fulfilling this important commitment.
This year’s program included estate planning, understanding the grieving process, Centraide Laurentides-Lanaudière and an introduction to animal-assisted therapy.
A special mention goes to Carole-Agnès Désabrais, coordinator of the Social Delegate Network at QFL Laurentides-Lanaudière, for organizing this event. Her dedication and professionalism made the day a great success.
Thank you as well to all the speakers and to Caisse Desjardins des travailleuses et travailleurs unis for their collaboration.
We are proud of our IAM Local 712 team and their continued commitment to the well-being of our members!
