IAM Meets the Talents of Tomorrow
The IAM Union is currently at the Palais des congrès de Montréal as part of the Salon national de l’éducation, showcasing careers in the aerospace industry to the next generation of workers.
Representing IAM Union at the event are Éric Gagné and Martin Vanier, who bring a combined 63 years of experience in the aerospace industry. They will be speaking with young people about careers in the sector, working conditions, and the benefits of working in a unionized environment.
IAM Union answered the call from the Comité sectoriel de main-d’œuvre en aérospatiale (CAMAQ), which is currently touring to promote careers in aerospace and air transportation. Together, these two sectors will need to fill more than 80,000 positions over the next 10 years; offering quality jobs, competitive working conditions, and an exciting work environment.
Every year, the Salon national de l’éducation welcomes thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors. It is a leading event for students, parents, educators and education professionals.
