Grace Hill Retirement Residence Members Ratify New Collective Agreement
Congratulations to the members at Grace Hill Retirement Residence on ratifying a new one-year Collective Agreement with new ownership, Spring Living!
The Grace Hill Retirement Residence bargaining committee, made up of Anne Masangu, Titilayo Adekayo and Amritpal Kaur, worked hard to negotiate a strong new agreement with the facility’s new ownership, Spring Living.
The new agreement, covering July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, provides a 3.5% general wage increase, along with additional special wage increases for Cooks and UCPs.
Members also secured improvements to bereavement leave and overtime provisions, as well as a mechanism to begin discussions on front-loading sick days.
The bargaining committee will return to the table in Spring 2027 to continue advocating for members and further improvements.
